About this site

Having a love for Whisky I am often bemused by tasting notes and not getting the same thoughts as written on the label, I am not saying the labels are wrong, just that in layman’s terms they are not worth the paper they are written on. With this in mind and always forgetting whether I like a particular Whisky or not, I decided to make this website and give my own scores and where possible added prices per bottle at the time of purchase. I am not a great fan of the peated whiskies but I will be fair and honest in my opinions. When scoring the marks will be out of 10. All of the whiskies are of my own choice and in no way are endorsed by companies to give an impartial opinion. The whiskies listed here are (I think) affordable or something to add to your wish list.
